Our Engagement Story
This past November, my (now) fiance, Samario, and I were on vacation in the Dominican Republic for my birthday. Two days before my birthday, we went on a waterfall adventure, which involved jumping off cliffs, swimming through rivers, and sliding down natural waterslides. Little did I know, Samario had tied the ring onto his shoelace and proceeded to jump off the cliffs with it so that he could propose to me in the middle of the river! He sneakily pulled it out at a quieter moment, and had one of the guides film the whole thing. Needless to say I was shocked! We then had a whole week in the Caribbean to celebrate.
The ring is absolutely perfect. The first thing my friends say when they see it is, "That's so you." We started with an original Capucinne design, and customized the stones to suit our personalities. It's so unique and personal that I can't imagine having anything else on my finger!
Samario proposed to the love of his life with a gorgeous set of round sapphire ring hugged with two matching blue diamonds band - a ring set we decided to name after her, Emily. Congratulations to both of them!
