Cocktail rings and Margaritas - the perfect combo!

What better way to celebrate National Margarita Day than to introduce the ultimate rings to go with your margaritas. We have paired some of our cocktail rings with matching margaritas along with some of our favorite margarita recipes. We're not going to let you wait any longer, let's hit the bar!
Cotton Candy Morganite Ring

This beautiful cotton candy pink pear morganite ring just calls for a pink drink to match, which makes it perfect to wear while you're sippin' on some pink lemonade margarita.

PINK LEMONADE RECIPE

Why not make this 'pretty in pink' style margarita for a girls night in? Even if it is over a 'zoom'. Here's what you'll need:

INGREDIENTS
Lemon wedge, for rimming glasses
Coarse salt, for rimming glasses
2 c. ice
2 1/4 c. Pink lemonade
1/4 c. fresh lemon juice
1/2 c. triple sec
1 c. tequila
4 Lemon Slices, for garnish
DIRECTIONS
Rub a lemon wedge around the rim of four glasses, then dip rims into salt.
To each glass, add ice, pink lemonade, lemon juice, triple sec, and tequila. Stir to combine. (if you prefer a lot of ice, stir together mixture first, then pour over ice.)
Garnish each glass with a lemon slice.

The Virginia ring is such lush ring. With a blush champagne sapphire and half eternity diamond band set in rose gold. A ring so lavish it just calls for a round of champagne margaritas!

CHAMPAGNE MARGARITA

We know 2020 was not the best of years, but maybe 2021 will be much better if we only make this margarita every Friday night, huh?

INGREDIENTS
1 ounce tequila
1 ounce orange liqueur
1 ounce lime juice freshly squeezed 2 ounces champagne 
For LIME SUGAR
⅛ cup white granulated sugar
zest of 1 lime
DIRECTIONS
Spoon the sugar onto a small plate, add the lime zest.
Mix together with fingers until fully combined.
Rub a slice of lime along the rim of the glass to get it wet and dip the rim into the sugar to coat with the lime sugar.
Combine the tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice in a glass, stir until mixed.
Top off glass with champagne.

And now for something classy, a ring that can be both traditional and alternative. Instead of Diamonds, we can use Moissanite as this is the perfect substitute. Paired with a breathtaking setting, we can create a ring that will become a staple in your everyday...

Sometimes you can't beat the classic. Simply because it is timeless and sophisticated. That's right we're talking about our Charlize, but the same goes for a classy margarita - never goes out of style! 

CLASSIC MARGARITA

INGREDIENTS
1 ounce lime juice approximately 1 lime
1 ½ ounces triple sec
1 ½ ounces tequila*
½ ounce agave, can sub with simple syrup*
⅛ tsp coarse salt
lime wedges
DIRECTIONS
Combine the ingredients in a drink shaker already filled with ice, or a jar or glass if you don't have one.
Shake, or stir if needed to mix the ingredients together.
Rub a lime wedge over the rim of the glass and dip into coarse salt. Add ice into the glass. Pour into a glass over ice. Garnish with a lime wedge on the edge.
Serve immediately

And the sweetest fruit for the very end... our very own Pineapple ring!
Pineapple Ring
For those that like to take their jewelry just like they like their cocktails - fun and juicy! this pineapple ring with a beautiful mandarin garnet got us craving for a pineapple margarita ... bartender!
PINEAPPLE MARGARITA

INGREDIENTS 

3 1/2 tsp. ground turmeric
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. kosher salt
1 lime wedge
2 cups pineapple juice
1/2 cup tequila blanco
1/2 cup fresh lime juice
1/4 cup agave nectar
Ice
4 pineapple wedges, for garnish

 

DIRECTIONS 

On a small plate, mix 2 tsp. turmeric, the sugar, chili powder and salt. Run the lime wedge around the rims of 4 glasses. Dip the rims in the turmeric mixture.

Add half each of the pineapple juice, tequila, lime juice and agave nectar and 3/4 tsp. turmeric to a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice and shake until the outside of the shaker becomes frosty, 10 to 15 times. Fill 2 glasses with ice and strain the margarita into the glasses, dividing equally. Repeat with the remaining pineapple juice, tequila, lime juice, agave and turmeric and more ice. Garnish the drinks with the pineapple wedges.
